Bumbo Seat Review

My son just turned 4 months old and a week ago I got him a Bumbo Baby Seat. We’ve had a baby bouncer since he was born but now that he can support his head I wanted him to start learning how to support his upper body. He loves to sit in his Bumbo Baby Sitter and is happy to spend a good 30 minutes in it at a time as he feels safe and comfortable. Meanwhile I can get on with other things (It’s important not to leave your child alone in the Bumbo Chair)..

The Bumbo Chair easily wipes clean and will be ideal to help wean my son onto solid food. The Bumbo Seat can also come with a white tray which is very useful and can be easily removed. I’ve spoken to mothers with slightly older children who’ve said that the Bumbo Seat is a great way to get your baby to join you at mealtimes before they are big enough for a high chair.

The Bumbo Seat is made of a foam type material and it’s very light and portable, I’ve no problem taking it with me when we go out. I’ve recommended the Bumbo Baby Sitter to many of the other mothers at my “Mother and Baby” Group and the one’s who have got one all agreed that it is a great product that has help enormously with the care of their child.

-Excellent purchase to get your little one sitting up, once they are able to hold their head, this is a great way to give them that independence they crave.

-My little girl is 16 weeks and has been in this from 12 weeks. She’s very strong and inquisitive and was getting frustrated reclining in her bouncy chair. It offers good support and she sits up on the kitchen worktop (supervised obviously) and will happily watch me prepare dinner. It’s also much easier to involve her because she’s up high – when she was in her bouncy chair in the kitchen I found it hard to interact because she was at shin level.

-I think this item is fantastic, I bought one for my Grandson earlier and this one was for a friend’s Grandson. They are a great idea and I wish there had been something like this when my children were babies. I also bought the tray to go with the seat, which helps when feeding a wriggling baby.
